Our style of Angus bull is a reflection of our powerful, fertile and docile Abigail, Flower and Prue female lines from Millah Murrah. Our cows are the backbone of our program to breed soft, easy doing and structurally correct bulls to drive genetic progress in your herd.

Leading sires matched to elite female lines

Our magnificent stud cows are joined using artificial insemination to both established and emerging sires, backed up by herd bulls Monaghan Paratrooper U3, Monaghan Titanium V8 and Millah Murrah Ulsterman U89. Current AI sires lines are predominantly from Millah Murrah and New Zealand's Taimate Angus.

Focus on herd health

Animal health, welfare and nutrition are Monaghan priorities. Our vaccination program includes 7in1, Pestigard, Vibrovax and Piliguard. We are a closed herd on a JBAS-6 property. We are investing in double fencing and other biosecurity measures to keep our cattle free of disease.

Quality assurance

Monaghan bulls are HBR registered with Angus Australia, genomic tested, parent verified and tested negative for Pestivirus. They are independently structurally assessed, ultrasound scanned and semen tested. Data is submitted to the TransTasman Angus Cattle Evaluation throughout the lifetime of all stud animals.
